Das Motto des Bolyai-Teamwettbewerbs lautet: „Die Fähigkeit zur Zusammenarbeit ist ein ganz zentraler Wert unseres Lebens. Die Schülerinnen und Schüler lösen gemeinsam in (klassenübergreifenden) Vierer-Teams vierzehn Knobel- und Denkaufgaben. An der ersten Runde nehmen zehn Teams der Jahrgangsstufen 7 - 9 teil.
